The thought of Shane made her smile. She was looking forward to seeing him in his tux and to spending some quality time this weekend with just the two of them.

  16

The ceremony itself was beautiful. Kaine couldn't help but tear up when get dad and Nancy exchanged vows. She blinked away her tears to see Shane grinning at her. She gave him a small smile and looked away. The groomsmen, who were just Jay and Shane, had on black suits and sky blue ties. The tie made Shane's eyes look impossibly blue. He looked so handsome that Kaine was having trouble keeping her eyes off of him.

  "You may kiss the bride."

Kaine thoughts were interrupted by thunderous applause. She cheered and clapped with everyone, following the rest of the bridal party out of the church. Nancy and her dad got into one car, Jane took Logan, and Jay took her and Shane in his car.

Kaine eyes filled with tears again. "That was so beautiful. Nancy looked perfect."

"Cue the loser faucet!" Jay cried, laughing. Kaine rolled her eyes.

  "The what?" Shane asked.

Kaine turned around to look at him. "He used to say that when we were little and I cried, cause I was a loser and my tears were a faucet, I guess. God, Jay, how did you come up with something so clever?" She joked.

"Oh, Kainie, don't be jealous. You're gonna miss me when I'm gone."

Jay was leaving shortly after the wedding to go back to school, and Kaine would miss him. It would be weird to have their new family without him there.

"I'll miss you going food shopping for me, I guess. I hope Nancy likes to go."

They pulled up to the house and climbed out of the car. The driveway and street were filled with cars already. "Kaine, you ready?" Jay asked. She nodded, and the three of them snuck inside to join the rest of the bridal party before they were announced. Logan went out first, followed by Kaine and Shane, then Jay and Jane, and finally the bride and groom. Kaine heard a lot of gasps as she walked out. She had completely forgotten that most of the people on the groom's side hadn't seen her since she was overweight. She hoped she didn't have to spend the whole night dealing with people gushing over her. She wanted to at least spend a little bit of time dancing with Shane.

Tom and Nancy had their first dance to "In My Life" by The Beatles. Kaine watched as they swayed back and forth, staring into each other's eyes. She had never seen her dad look so handsome. Crowds gathered on the dance floor as the first song ended and Kaine tried to find Shane. She spotted him dancing with his Aunt Jane. He looked at her and shrugged, smiling. She walked over to cut in when a hand pulled at hers.

"Kainie, dance with me?" Asked Logan. Kaine smiled down at him. "Of course. Come on." She led him to the floor and danced with him, trying to keep a straight face as he danced furiously, the only way a six year old boy knew how.

Shane watched Kaine dancing with Logan, a small smile on his face.

"He seems to have taken a liking to Kaine, huh?"

He grinned at his aunt. "How'd you know I was looking at her?"

She rolled her eyes. "Cause I'm not blind. Anyway, everybody's looking at her. She's stunning."

"Yeah," Shane said softly. "I don't know what she sees in me. I used to tease her a lot. Because I liked her."

"Well, kids do stupid things, honey. I'm sure she forgives you."

Shane chuckled uncomfortably. "The thing is, I pretty much teased her until the end of this school year."

Jane smacked him upside the head.

"Ow!" Cried Shane. "What was that for?"

"For acting like a little boy. Go man up and ask her to dance. I'll pry Logan away from her."

  "Thanks, Aunt Jane."

Shane and Jane approached Logan and Kaine. Kaine was trying to teach Logan the sprinkler, and Logan was trying to imitate her. It was the sweetest thing that Shane had ever seen, and it was then that he knew without a doubt that he was totally, completely, head over heels in love with Kaine Spencer.

"That looks fun. Can I try?" Jane asked Logan. He nodded, trying to show her his version of the dance as Shane led Kaine away. She wrapped her arms around him and put her head against his chest. He loved the feel of her pressed against him. "Everybody's staring at you," he whispered in her ear.

"That's because most of them haven't seen me since I was overweight, and they've certainly never seen me dressed up."

Shane held her tighter. "It's because you're by far the most beautiful girl here."

Kaine laughed. "Isn't the bride supposed to be the most beautiful girl?"

"Alright, fine. You're the sexiest girl here."

Kaine was glad her face was pressed against his chest so he couldn't see her blush.

"You look amazing, Kaine. I can't believe you're even giving me the time of day. Especially after everything I did."

"Shh," she said, glancing up at him. "Let's not talk about that. Not today. I have a surprise for you later," she said, smiling seductively at him.

Thinking about what her surprise could be made him instantly hard. "Fuck," he groaned. "Nobody better interrupt us for awhile."

They got through the rest of their dance without being interrupted. As soon as it was over, a large and boisterous lady came bounding up to them. "What happened to my little Candy Kaine?" She cried. Shane stifled a laugh. "You're all grown up! You look just like your mother."

Kaine hugged her. "Hi, Aunt Teri. Where's Uncle Kevin?"

She waved her hand. "Here somewhere." She turned to Shane. "So you're the son of the bride? She seems like a lovely girl. I'm glad Tom found someone."

She chatted with Kaine for a few more minutes until her husband pulled her away. "Kaine, you look great. It's so good to see you again. Make sure you call me!" She called, as Kevin mouthed "sorry" with a smile.

"Long lost aunt?" Shane asked. Kaine laughed. "No, not so much. We see them every few months. But every time we do she acts like she hasn't seen us in years. It's pretty funny actually. Drives my uncle crazy."

Kaine had invited Lucy to the wedding, and to Shane's surprise, she spent most of the time dancing with Jay. Shane hadn't invited any of his friends because he wanted as much time with Kaine as possible. He was also afraid his friends would sneak alcohol in and do something stupid. He was trying to prove to Kaine that he had grown up.

The food was catered by the market that Jay worked at, and it was great. Kaine even broke her diet a little bit to have a small piece of cake. By the time the wedding was over, everyone was exhausted but happy. Kaine was buzzed from a few glasses of champagne and ready for a nap. Thankfully, her dad had hired a team to clean up the yard and disassemble the dance floor so they didn't have to worry about it.

"Kaine, be good. I'll see you in a few weeks, ok? Shane, take care of my sister," Jay said, grabbing the last of his bags and loading them in the car. He shook Shane's hand and gave Kaine a hug before jumping into his car and peeling out of the driveway.

Tom and Nancy came outside with a teary eyed Logan. They were going to drop him off at Jane's then go to the bed and breakfast from there. "Remember you can call me any time, honey," Nancy said to Logan. "You'll have a great time with Aunt Janie. You remember her dogs? I bet they can't wait to see you."

"And don't forget Sunday," Kaine interjected. "Shane and I are taking you to the zoo."

Logan nodded, sniffling. He slowly climbed into the car and shut the door.

"We'll be back early on Monday," Nancy said. "You can call us if there's an emergency. But otherwise..."

"Yeah, mom, we get it," Shane said. "Go have fun. We'll hold down the fort."

Kaine hugged her dad and Nancy and watched as they pulled out of the driveway. Once they were out of sight, she turned to Shane. "So," she said, biting her lower lip nervously. "What do you want to do?"

Shane grabbed her and kissed her hard, running his fingers through her hair. "I've been waiting to do that all day," he whispered." I can't wait to have you all to myself tonight."

"Mm hmm," she moaned, lost in their kiss. "Do you hav
e the...uh..."

"Gonna go get them now. Why don't I go and you can get ready, ok?" She nodded as he jumped in his car and left.

She couldn't believe she was going to lose her virginity to Shane Ellery. If someone had told her that a few months ago she would have laughed in their face. But it felt so right. Shane loved her, and she was pretty sure she was falling in love with him.

Kaine went inside and showered and shaved, being careful not to get her face or hair wet. She got out of the shower and shook out her hair, loose curls falling down her shoulders. She put on the lingerie that she had gotten just for tonight. It was a black lacy push up bra and matching thong, with matching thigh highs. She looked in the mirror, admiring her body. Her stomach was flat and her thighs were finally looking toned. Her butt was still bigger than she wanted, but Shane seemed to like it.

The door opened downstairs, and Kaine tried to shake out her nerves. What if Shane didn’t like her body once he saw her standing up naked? The door to her bedroom opened and Kaine held her breath, suddenly self conscious.

Shane dropped the bag he was holding. “Holy shit," he said softly. “Turn around."

Kaine self consciously turned around, hoping he liked what he saw. “Do you like it?" She asked shyly. He grabbed her hand and put it over his erection that was bulging against his jeans. “What do you think?" He asked, grinning at her. “You’re so beautiful, Kaine. Just perfect."

She ran her hands over his muscular arms and chest, surprised at the way they made her feel safe. Shane ran his thumbs over her nipples. “Tell me you want me," he said in a low voice.

“I want you," Kaine gasped as he squeezed her nipple gently.

“Get on the bed," he commanded. Kaine immediately laid down on the bed. She knew she should be wary of his threatening tone, but it turned her on even more. She didn’t know why, but she trusted Shane not to hurt her.

Shane stared down at her, rubbing himself over his pants. “Touch yourself."

Kaine blushed, but seeing the lustful look on his face, she slowly ran her hand down her stomach and into her panties. She started rubbing in circles, moving her hips with her fingers.

Shane unzipped his pants and pulled out his erection. "Suck it."

Kaine was taken back by his controlling tone. She was also more turned on than she had ever been in her life. There was something so hot about a man who knew what he wanted and wasn't afraid to ask for it.

She eagerly leaned up and took him in her mouth. "Mmm," she moaned, still touching herself.

"Take off your panties," he whispered. Keeping him in her mouth, she brought her legs up and pulled off her panties, tossing them aside and continuing to touch herself. The sight of Kaine pleasuring herself while sucking his cock was almost too much for Shane. He pulled out of her mouth. "Are you ready?"

  She nodded nervously.

He climbed on top of her, kissing her. "Don't worry. I'll be gentle." He pulled off his boxers and rolled on the condom. Looking into her eyes, he caressed her face. "I love you, Kaine," he said as he slowly pushed inside her.

  Kaine gasped. "Ahh!"

"You ok?" Shane asked, pausing. Kaine bit her lip and nodded. Shane moved slowly in and out of her, groaning. "God, you feel so good."

The pain gave way to discomfort, and finally Kaine felt pleasure starting to build in her stomach. "Ohh, God," she moaned. "Oh God, Shane!"

He kissed her face. "You gonna come?"

Kaine moaned out an unintelligible yes, as Shane pushed all the way inside her. "Come for me, baby," he whispered, moving faster. "Come all over my cock."

Kaine became impossibly tight as she came, crying out. The feeling was enough to push him over the edge and he finished with a grunt.

"Jesus, Kaine," he muttered, pulling out of her. "I could do that all day with you."

Kaine sighed in bliss. "Not for awhile. I'm kind of sore."

Shane grinned down at her. "Cause I'm so huge, right?" He asked, twirling a strand of her hair. She nodded. "I mean, not like I have anything to compare it to. But...wow."

He smiled proudly. "So was it good?"

"It was amazing," she said dreamily. "Was it ok for you?"

He stroked her face, looking into her eyes lovingly. "It was perfect, Kaine. You're perfect. I'm sorry about the...uh...telling you what to do. It's ok if you don't like that."

Kaine smiled, embarrassed. "No, I kind of liked it. It made me feel good, knowing I was doing exactly what you wanted. It was hot."

Hearing her words made him start to get hard again. "Want to take a shower?" He asked her.

"My legs feel like noodles," she replied. "I don't know if I can walk."

He scooped her up and carried her to the bathroom, laughing. He set her down, turning on the water. "Get in. I'll be in soon."

Kaine stepped in the shower, letting the hot water soothe her sore muscles. She couldn't believe she had just had sex with Shane Ellery. She almost felt like she was falling in love with him. Most of all, she couldn't believe that he was in love with her.

The shower curtain snapped back and a naked Shane stood in front of her. Kaine gasped, startled. "Jesus! You scared me. What's that?" She asked, looking at the small container in his hand.

"Body scrub," he replied. "Gives me an excuse to put my hands all over you." He stepped in the shower and put the scrub down. Pouring a small amount of body wash in his hand, he reached between her legs and washed her. "Oh, God," she moaned. Shane massaged her until she was clean. "You sore?" He asked as she rinsed off. She nodded. "A little."

He got on his knees, lifting her leg over his shoulder. "Let me kiss it and make it better."

Kaine's eyes rolled back in her head as Shane went down on her. She leaned back against the shower wall, moaning. Shane loved how he could tell what she liked by how loud she got. "I'm coming," she cried. "Oh God, don't stop!"

He glanced up at the look of ecstasy on her face as she gyrated against his mouth. So hot.

Kaine slumped down. "My legs," she muttered. "Jesus Christ."

Shane chuckled. "Just sit down," he said, putting her on the built in seat. "Relax."

Shane took a small amount of scrub and ran his hands down her legs. He took his time rubbing her whole body, massaging and scrubbing every inch of her. He helped her rinse off and shut off the water, wrapping her in a towel and leading her back to her bedroom. "Lay down," he ordered. She fell down on her bed without argument as he covered her with a blanket. "Get comfy," he said. "I'll be back in a minute."

Kaine stretched out in bliss, feeling like a princess. She marveled at how different Shane was from what she had always thought. He was trying his hardest to make her feel special, and it was working.

Shane came back in the room a few minutes later with a tray. "What's this?" She asked, smiling.

"Wine, cheese and crackers. There's no way you're not starving."

She had to admit that she was. She sat up as he poured them each a glass of wine. Kaine sipped at the wine and nibbled in the crackers. "Can I ask you something?"

  Shane nodded. "Shoot."

"What's going to happen when we go back to school?"

  "What do you mean?"

Kaine looked down at her hands. "I mean, are you still afraid people will laugh at you if they find out about us?"

Shane grabbed her hand. "Kainie, I don't give a shit what anyone thinks. I love you, ok?" She nodded. "And besides," he continued, "have you seen yourself? You're smoking hot. Like, way too good for me."

She giggled. "That's not true. You know you're hot. Girls stare at you everywhere you go."

"Well, yeah, but I'm an asshole. You're hot AND sweet. So...yeah. Too good for me. But I'll take you as long as I can have you," he said, kissing her on the head. He put the tray on her dresser and laid next to her, pulling her against him. "Did you have a good day?"

"Best of my life," she murmured sleepily. "Thanks for making it so special."

He pulled her closer, nuzzling her hair. "I'd do
this every day if it made you happy. I love you, Kaine."

"Mmm," she replied before she drifted off to sleep.

Kaine woke up the next morning with Shane's arm draped over her, feeling relaxed and happy. She tried to slide out from under his arm and felt him tighten his grip on her. She looked over and saw the small smile on his face. "How long have you been up?" She asked.

"A few minutes," he replied. "Just watching you sleep."

She rolled out from under him. "Creeper," she teased, throwing on her bathrobe. "I need to brush my teeth. Want to go for a run?"

He grinned lazily. "Yeah. But be prepared to be embarrassed when I leave your ass in the dust."

She laughed. "We'll see. I might surprise you."

Shane wasn't lying. Kaine was able to keep up with him for the first mile, but started lagging behind soon after. "That's not fair," she gasped. "I've only been running for a few months. Stop going so fast."

He laughed and slowed down, waiting for her to catch up. "Just one more mile, Kainie."

"Fuck me," she muttered, shaking out her arms. Shane rolled his eyes and crouched in front of her. "Jump on."

She giggled and jumped on his back, wrapping her legs around him as he hoisted her up and started running home. "Don't drop me!" She cried, laughing. By the time they got home, Shane was exhausted. They jumped in the shower together and washed each other, enjoying the feel of each other's bodies. They decided to go out for breakfast and get out of the house for awhile.

Kaine dried off and tried to find something cute to wear, deciding on a cute pink sundress that Kelsey had let her borrow and white sandals. She put her hair up and put on a little bit of mascara and lip gloss. She grabbed her phone and was about to toss it in her bag when she noticed it was flashing. She unlocked it and saw 17 missed calls.
